What are you thankful for?

I read a blog today where a mom was thanking God for blessings that He had given her that week. They weren't anything major, just those things that God does to remind you that He cares about you, even about the things that are so small.
I guess I just wanted to let everyone know what I am thankful for today.

1. I am thankful for Kobe.

Today we had a bit of down time so we took extra long in walmart this morning. We went to the toy aisle (because we can't go into walmart and NOT visit the toy aisle :) ) and while he was looking at toys I sat down in the extended childs seat because I planned on letting him take his time. Well, Kobe decided to push me around the toy aisle in the cart and laughed his head off the whole time. He didn't even crash me into anything. And I am thankful God gave me that gift, what a funny memory.

2. I am thankful for being a young mom.

One of my favorite things to do is go to playplaces with Kobe when no one else is there and play with him. This morning we went to Burger King really early upon Kobe's request. Well, no one was there and so I played with him in the play place. I don't when the last time any of you got to play in a play place, but if you are ever with Kobe, he would be more than happy to lead you around the maze of tubes, slides and other things in those things. And he will laugh his head off as you go down the slide filled with static and get shocked the whole way down.

3. I am thankful for sticky toys that leave marks on the wall.

Now, you probably don't believe that, especially if you saw the look on my face today when I saw 8 of them on Kobe's wall and there was no doubt in my mind that there would be marks all over the wall, but the idea of no marks on the wall or no messes to clean up would mean no Kobe, and that is not for me. I love my lived in house. I love every mark on the wall and every toy laid out on the floor. Some days I know that I will never see anything more beautiful and I will never miss anything more.
