I have had a blog for what, a few months? And already I am posting my 200th post...mmmm. Anyway, we have started the tile project!!! We are tiling the kitchen, dining room & entryway. I am SO over joyed! The previous owners had capeted it all, ick. Capet in a kitchen, not gonna happen with my two guys ;)

Mark has been helping Ben for most of the day, Thank you Thank you! and thank you cindy for all the baby sitting and help and loan of your husband. you are the most amazingly helpful, thoughtful person I know.

Oh, and the floor you are seeing is the linolium that was under the carpet and the padding.

Cool! I can't wait to see it all done! I can't believe the film in your pictures from all the dust...crazy! I am so happy for you guys being able to get that big project done. We are planning on doing our entryway sometime too:)! It has carpet too, and I don't like that in the entryway either.

I just love to be able to look back at the year...what wonderful changes God brings into our lives! It is funny how we both have big projects going on right now. I had to climb over stuff to get to my computer hahahaha. But true ;) I can just imagine what the bath tub will feel like.......anyway back to reality. It was funny to hear about my indoctrination of Kobe about Michigan and hioh(Ohio).
love you,
Mom

Mom Wentzel:

lol, yes that was funny. Kobe has been soaking in everything everyone has been saying lately and has a good grasp on literally what we all mean by what we are saying...scarey :)

I meant what I said about how much I appreciate you watching Kobe the past few days, it really made all the diffrence for me. My sister really needed me and it was nice to be able to be there for her without worrying about Kobe

Alyssa:

Oh my goodness, all the dust was crazy. It was from the old 60's tile that was on the floor in a 4 foot square right as you walk in the front door. The had poured cement and the tiled and ben and his dad busted it all out down to the subfloor. Crazy!!! The rest of the flooring was easier to get out, he is going to screw in the cement board today and mess around with the tile to see how he wants to lay it. I don't know if he will be laying any of it today or not, it os always such a long process :)

I know what you mean. I always hate the mess, but it will be worth it all! I hope you get it all done soon. It will be great when it is done:)!
