Happy Valentine's Day!

Kobe's class Valentine's Day party was yesterday.  I thought they would get snowed out, but luckily they had school so they got to have their party.

First they had their craft to do.
They made holders for their Valentines.

Then they passed out their valentine's to each other.
Kobe was pretty excited about this part because his valentine's came with spiderman tattoos.  I later realized that tattoos where the "thing" this year, quite a few kids had different cards that also came with matching tattoos.

Then they had food, cute food  :)
Next it was game time.  First was a round of musical chairs, Kobe's friend Griffin totally cheated and won.
Next was duck-duck-goose.  Kobe kicked butt in duck-duck-goose, he is super fast!
The kids all seemed to have a lot of fun and Kobe is SO overjoyed that he has the next 6 days off from school because of Presidents day and teacher service stuff!  Whoo hoo~!

Now, I am about to let my evil streak hang out.  See this kid-the one with the arrows pointing to him?
He is new.  He just started after Christmas break.  His mom was in charge of games.  I do not know what happened but all the sudden he decides to have a little freak out because something didn't go his way, starts crying and clinging to his Mom's leg-won't listen to a thing she says-continues the fit long enough that his Mom has walked away and MRS. BAKER goes over to him and gets him under control.
It was the highlight of the party.  At least for me.  Because I am evil  :P

I hope EVERYONE has a wonderful Valentine's Day.  I am sure it will be one poor Matt never forgets.  We are praying today will be the last part of his stay in the hospital and that Cindy has traveling safety down there today.

I loved the pictures of Kobe's Valentine party. He is soo cute!!!
It was good you were there and share that experience with him. I keep thinking of Matt and it seems my mind is blank except for him. Lindsey called me this morning to update me. His colonoscopy is at 3:30 then hopefully we will find out what is going on. Love ya, Gram

Well Leah, I see that kind of freak out all the time at work. they call these kids emotionally impaired (EI). I say they need a good swift kick in the pants! I guess that is why I am just a para-pro.
