A day at the Beach!

Today was such a nice HOT day we decided to go to the beach!  We invited my sister along and had a great time!  You can tell Kobe is going to miss having a pool this summer (I already am) he got right in the chilly water and had a blast-and of course had to drag me in too  :)

It was also David's first time at the beach-turns out he isn't a big fan...
We took David out to the water and just dipped his toes in, my guess is the water was a little to chilly for his taste because he was not interested in that and even when we tried to introduce him to sand he wasn't havin' it :)  he just wanted Bobbie to hold him and then finally got comfortable sitting on a beach towel playing with toys.  He had had a rough night the night before so maybe next time he will like it better...who knows :)
Kobe just ate it up though...he throughly enjoyed the sand and the water.  I am glad he likes lakes like he likes pools.  He had a great day and it was nice to just play with him!

I am glad Kobe likes the beach as well as the pool. It looks like Kobe was having a great time. I am sure he will enjoy Ludington even more this year.

We went to scriptor (sp?) it is a great little beach in oxford about 5 minutes from Bobbie & Dave's house in Oxford. When you are coming from the house on ray road you turn left onto ray road then left before you hit the dirt part of ray road behind meijers. you stay on that and go thru the 4 way stop and it is about 1/2 a mile up on the left...kinda right behind where food town used to be...would have been nice to know it was there when we all lived there :)

That lake looks really clean! I might not even mind swimming in it!
