Practicing? :)

Today I got to take Kobe, Brook & David out all by myself for some fun in the sun!!!  We went to the beach in Holly (WONDERFUL beach by the way, we will be visiting there many more times :) ) and then we went to the Water Pad at the park by our house.
I so wish I could have taken my camera with me, but I just couldn't do it.  I felt like I had my hands full as it was.
I had to laugh afterwards about all the bags we took with us.  Kobe and I had a bag, David had his diaper bag and Brook had her bag and a bag of beach toys Shelly packed for Brook and Kobe.  The kids had to carry their own bags and floats while I carried David, his bag and towels.
If all three kids were mine I am sure that I could have found a way to condense that down!   :)
The kids had a great time at the beach, once Brook & Kobe had their arm floaties on they were out in the water and they could go really far out and still touch so they liked that.  They had fun in the sand and chasing the minnows.
David stuck with me and had a great time sitting at the edge of the water and then going out in the water where the kids were.  He was so excited to be out there IN the water he splashed and splash.  His little "get up" was hilarious too.  Kobe and Brook don't really burn but David, well, lets just say David's daddy doesn't tan.  He burns-peals-and burns again.  So Bobbie and I assume he has his dad's complexion so here is Little David out in the sun with a backwards baseball cap on, a long sleeve shirt & swimming trunks out in the lake.  He didn't burn at all so I was thrilled :)
Anyway, Brook was an Angel, Kobe was a HUGE helper (very protective of David) and David was a little baby angel.  They made it look like having 3 kids is easy :)

i had a to work that morning before the kids came and then I only had 2 hours with david.
i think a 45 min. drive with these three would have been a bit much for me :)

is it supposed to be nice next week? can we come over if it is? what days to you have available?
