Goodbye 1st Grade Class Christmas Party Hello Snow Day

Well, today was supposed to be Kobe's last day before Christmas break but it turns out yesterday was his last day!  I haven't even looked outside yet to see how much snow we have gotten-I don't really want to know!

Wednesday Kobe's class had a field trip.  They went caroling at to nursing homes.  I cannot tell you how depressing those places are!!!  The kids actually did brighten up these people's day but I was so ready to leave and ever since have been thinking about what I could maybe do to love on some of those people.

The kids did a great job singing and after wards went to Burger King to play so at least they all got to do something fun together before Christmas break.

This is a shot of Kobe and Gwen.  They "like each other".   Kobe is 6 and she is 7.  I would just like to point out after watching Kobe and Gwen that Kobe is definitely his father's son and I was freaking out a little.  Kobe is very affectionate-very affectionate.  And Gwen eats it up.  Goodness help us all-this is only the beginning!

I loved snow days, but how sad that he missed his Christmas party...wow! I remember one year thinking that was going to happen, but we didn't get as much snow as they had thought after all, so we still had our party with all the hyper children after all:) LOL

I also remember going to the nursing homes, and know what you mean. Very sad, and they are so lonely. Many of them don't have visitors very often.

I can't believe Kobe already has a little "like each other" girl. Wow! You definitely have your hands full with that one.:)

See you guys soon! Pray for no storms on our journey, please!!!

Kobe is just a sweet loveable boy and that is the way we want him to be. I remember all the crushes all of us had with the opposite sex but at least it is not the same sex.
