Is sick season over yet!?!??

I have kept Kobe home from school for the 3rd day now.  Around 1:15 pm yesterday I took Kobe to the doctor.  His cheeks were pink and he had a terrible cough.  The doctor took his temp and that was normal.  He ran a strep test and that came back negative.  He said he thought Kobe has a sinus infection so he prescribed him some antibiotics and we went home.
After that Kobe started feeling worse and worse.  I laid with him in bed for a while and then when Ben came home he did.  Between 8 - 9pm Ben came out to get me and said kobe felt really hot and wanted to take his temp.  We took his temp under neath his arm and it was 103.4!  I gave him some Tylenol which he then threw up.  He was so hot that we actually ended up putting him in a cool bath to get his body temp. down.  I gave him some Motrin because he had thrown up all the tylenol.  Shortly after that his temp. when back down to about 100-101.  An hour later his fever broke.
It has been a long time since he has had a fever like that.  It scared Ben and I both.  I was glad Ben was there because he was the one that force the bath on Kobe and me and I think that really helped.
Kobe is doing great today, no fever, acting great but still has a cough.  Pray for him if you think of it :)

I always have a hard time when the kids have high temps too. Glad he is okay. We will pray he gets 100% better soon.

Love you! Tell Kobe we are praying for him.
