Busy, but nothing going on :)

I have been very busy with work this past week so I haven't had time to snap too many pictures or invest time in my blog.

I am busy messing with paper work today, which I avoid like the plague -as you can see since I decided to kill time on here instead of DOING WHAT I NEED TO BE DOING!  :)

Our home was officially considered open in the foster world last Friday.  I received our paper license in the mail yesterday and so far we have not received any phone calls.  I supposed we are onto the next portion of the show, called "waiting".  Didn't we just do that?

Anyway, I have been thinking about and prayer a lot lately.  I was at a funeral service Tuesday and one of the pastors got up and quote from the old time hymn:

What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

It was this first time in a long time I had heard those words and honestly the first time I really understood what the song was saying.  "O what needless pain we bear,  All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer."

I am hoping to fix that part of how I live my life.  I am hoping to become more of a prayer warrior for myself and for others.

-Needless to say, I have been praying for "our kids" (the kids that will end up in our house, as I call them).
Will you pray for their safety with me?

-I also have a HUGE unspoken request that I have toiling over what to do about.  Will you pray that I do EXACTLY what God wants me to do?

-Please be praying for my mom, she has recently had crippling back pain.  God is healing her, but it is a slow process.

-Pray for Shelly's boys, pray that they are safe and loved and pray for the paper work to get moving!

-
Please pray for her family, she went to be with Jesus.

-Pray for Chris and Alyssa as they are on this new leg of Chris' journey to be a police office.
-Pray for Lindsay & Matt's new baby's healthy growth and for physical healing in some of their extended family.

You have figured out the most important thing other than our salvation! Of course Dad and I will pray for all of you as we pray that you all will keep us in prayer too. GOD is so amazing.
