Grandma Corey! You are one amazing lady! We all love you so much and we are all SO BLESSED to have you in our lives (if you look thru my blog you will see I use the word blessed very sparingly!)

We are so glad God has kept you in our lives and that we get to share our children with you! They love their GG & "Money Grandma" so much, you are a very special part of their life!

I hope you feel better soon and we will see you and celebrate as soon you are up to it.

Kobe's new shirt

I found this shirt and tie at H&M at Great Lakes Crossing and fell in love with it.  It is so cute!

As you in Michigan can probably tell I took this picture on Wednesday.  If I was to take the same picture in the same place today it would look like a winter wonderland behind Kobe, no joke.  We got a decent amount of snow last night.  It fell in big beautiful flake, just perfect for Christmas or something, not necessarily perfect for Spring Break :)

Now, the sun is coming up and it is all melting so I hope that is the last of it, but we shall see.

Vicki, Dave, Amanda, Todd & Caleb, I hope you all have a great safe trip!  Enjoy the sun!

Easter Dinner at the Aeschilman's

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!  Blogger gave me a horrible time trying to load theses pictures.  I always leave the pictures in their large file size so when you click on them you can see them huge, well today blogger wanted everything to take F-O-R-E-V-E-R and it did.  So, here is my blog that should have been up THIS MORNING!!!!

I love this pic.  It is the best one of the boys together.

Caleb thought Kobe looked like the perfect place to sit and play with his toy.

I'm sure it wasn't to show Kobe whose toy these really were, no Caleb wouldn't do that.  :)
And then Kobe would try to move...and Caleb would adjust...to make sure his butt was still on Kobe.
Then Kobe hopped on one of Caleb's little push/bike/things.  Of course Caleb hopped on the back to take a ride too.

"Caleb, where's God?"  "There He is!"

I don't think Caleb has ever met a chocolate he didn't like :)
I think this is the person who enjoyed the egg hunt the most!  Thanks Grandma for a really fun egg hunt!

Easter Morning

While Ben and I were getting ready for church Kobe HAD to hurry and put his little bionicle together.

Easter Egg hunt at The Point and Vampire Bunnies

What a day Saturday turned out to be!!!  Ben stayed home and we had a great morning together then we were off to the egg hunt at church.  There were so many people there it was crazy!  The was a muddy field full of eggs, a gym full of blow ups to play on, people to paint your face, snow cones, and food, games, it was a lot of fun for the kids and lots of stress for the parents BUT they are worth it!

Oh, now this was my favorite idea of the day!  Kobe and Brook went to go get their faces painted.  Well, one of the ladies had some pictures out and one was flipped over and showed a vampire.  Well, of course that was what Kobe wanted, and I went along with it because they were using markers and I wanted as little marker on his face as possible.

Poor Brook!  I felt so bad that Kobe wanted the stupid vampire teeth because then Brook did too!  She really got into in when she was trying out her teeth and Grandma!

Here is kobe with the Easter Bunny (still sporting his vampire face paint, doesn't it just add such a nice effect to the picture?)

Brook was not going to sit with the easter Bunny.  Not by herself, not with Kobe, not with me, she was not going to do it, so we didn't.
See, there weren't that many kids there!  :P

It was like a sea of children, dirty, muddy, greedy children  :)
Kobe had to hold his own in the egg hunt while I helped Brook (and while Dad took pictures :) )

He was tough enough to race through and get a lot of eggs by himself. 

Brooklyn did such a good job at the egg hunt, she filled up her basket and managed to not fall in the mud!

Bobbie's Birthday

Yesterday was Bobbie's B-day.  Dave wanted to surprise her with having everyone over and not telling her and he did a good job.  Bobbie said, "Well, I guess he can keep a secret."  :)

Also, Ben and I got home around 9:45 pm from Bobbie and Dave's house.  I still had to ice and decorate a cake to take to Vicki's.  I had found a picture online of a cute bunny cake I was thinking about copying so I decided to try it out even though it was late and it turned out pretty good!

I guess I was feeling ambitious  :)

Most of all, Happy Easter everyone!  I know my Saviour lives and there is nothing more important that celebrating the day HE ROSE from the grave!  Thank you Lord for caring enough about us to do all you do!

OH, and very soon I will have pictures of the easter egg hunt that turned into a mud wrestling pit and Kobe and Brook as vampire bunnies. It was an interesting egg hunt at The Point :)
