I couldn't have said it better myself
" I've taught for 4 years now, and I've babysat various ages of children for varying lengths of time since I was 11 years old, so I really didn't think this would suck as much energy out of me as it has. Lesson learned. I don't know that you can really learn what you are physically able to handle until you just try it, and that is what I did. I also don't know that you can really understand that "3 kids" does not mean "3 kids like the kinds of kids I'm used to babysitting and teaching" when you're talking about foster care. These kids require so much more out of you physically, emotionally, and in every other way. It is not their fault. They are not "bad kids." Please hear me say that. However, it is what it is. Life has made them incredibly needy."
