The twinkle in Vicki's eye...
...by that I mean Caleb. Lindsey posted these pictures of Caleb on Facebook and aren't they so cute? He is getting big, everyone always talks about what a good baby he is.
***at first I miss spelled twinkle and the post said "tinkle in Vicki's eye" lol

Bobbie & Dave
This was a cute picture I found of Bobbie and Dave on my laptop and I thought I would though it on here :)
does it seem like forever?
Well, does it seem like forever since my last post? :) it has only been two days so hopefully no one is going thru withdrawls :)
Well, I hadn't planned on coming back to our apartment to clean today, but I was pretty sure I would be able to connect to someones wireless internet here and I was just using the cleaning as an excuse to get online. I wanted to share some new pictures with you, I will have more as I put the house together (our move wasn't very organized). Thank you so much to my Mom and Dad, Bobbie, Dave, Aunt Di, Mark, Cindy, Shelly, Jason and Brooklyn for all their help moving and cleaning. Plus, it was just nice yo spend time with you all.
These pictures are of a corner of Kobe's room and the office. We painted our bedroom the same as the office and kobe's room, along with every other room in the house, is not finished yet.
***sorry, i am trying to post pictures, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Tired!
Tonight Bobbie and Dave helped us move ALOT of our stuff! Well, Ben and Dave moved most of it, but Bobbie and I were very suportive :) Ben banged up his face a couple times tonight :( he has a gash on the side of his nose from a shelf and hit himself on the side of the face when he was carrying a chair in. His is ok though. Sorry I don't have pictures yet, we have been a little busy. Now it is almost 11pm and I am going to get started on a thing for a Lady's Luncheon tomorrow, a video to play while Juliet sings.
Good night...I will post pictures soon

Today...
Well, today my mom and Aunt Di painted ALL the bedrooms for me! What an amazing thing, I appreciated it so much. Kobe's room turned out really cute, once we get the molding up and the spiderman decals on the walls I will post some pictures.
Kobe (aka Mr. Sneaky) was up to his usual antics today. After my mom and Aunt Di left Bobbie was cleaning the carpet in the family room and I was cleaning the little bathroom. I walked out to see what Kobe was up to and noticed that the door to his room was shut which I thought was weird so I went in and looked around. To my right there was a L shaped swipe in the newly painted wall and a dime size circle of paint on the carpet. At first I didn't know what happened and then it dawned on me. I went out to the kitchen and asked kobe, "did you touch the paint in your room?" he nervously said "yes". Then I asked his, "did you wipe your finger off on the carpet" to which he replied "I didn't mean to." So anyway, all the rooms look great and Kobe put his own special touch on his wall.
Kobe's bed got here today too which I was excited about and God blessed us by having them order the wrong bed and us getting a nicer one for the same price! Now he has a bunk bed with a twin size top and a full size bottom that is a futon. The one we ordered was not a futon. So that was neat that now kobe will have a little couch in his room instead of just a bed. It is so neat that God chooses to bless us with something even better that what we thought we wanted.

Kobe is going to be 5 on May 30th! Gosh, that always seemed so far away, well at least it did before he had his 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th birthdays. I ran across our old home videos (by old I mean videos from the passed 4 years) and had so much fun looking at them I wanted to celebrate all my favorite Kobe moments that we were blessed enough to capture! So here is your first taste of my Kobe celebration for the next 12 days!
Update
Yea!!! The house is FINALLY ours! We had signing at 10 am and all is finished. After we left I met my mom and she went with me to our new house and helped me cleaned (she did so much!) and her and my aunt di are coming over tommorrow to paint the bedrooms. We are decorating Kobe's room in a sophisticated spiderman theme (if that is possible). Mostly we are doing his room in grey tones and such, we will post pictures as soon as we get it going. For our bedroom I chose a nutural brown tone that I plan on pairing with chocolate brown & a shade a blue that I have started to like. The office/spare room is going to be painted the same as our master bathroom, I don't know how that is getting decorated yet though.
Everything else is staying the off white that it is right now.

Soap Box
Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
The past few weeks I have been on a path that I am excited about, nervous & apprehensive about. A path I know God has laid for me and still it is almost like I love to sit in my own apprehension and be miserable. I seriously sometimes have a side that likes being miserable. Now, that sounds horrible, but believe it or not, the TRUTH is always beautiful. It means you are willing to stop denying it.
For a few months now every time I start to feel nerous about anything I call up a phrase I heard once: "There are plenty of things to think about but NOTHING to worry about." Now, as nice as this phrase is and it does ring true, it is not the truth I want to cling to. I want to cling to the promises of God, not the phrases of men. I fail so much, time after time I sin and do things I know God does not want me to and He blesses me abundantly anyway.
But the Truth that I currently need to cling to is that "He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." That is what I want to hold so close to my heart that it covers my entire being. Remembering that the things I do that are wrong, my sin, is why He was pierced, crushed and punished. And here I am, doing with my life what I want, giving Him the parts I am OK with Him having and that's it. Now, those are my bad days, i have great days where I am "in this thing" 100%. I just am ready for MOST if not ALL of my days to be the good ones, not just some days, you know?
I truly just want to remember and be a constant REMINDER of what God did for all of us. You know when you have been around someone that is filled with God's love, it is so thick around them you feel like it has touched you. I have always wanted to grow up to be one of those little old ladies that everyone loves to be around, is described as a "prayer warrior", you know the type. That is "what I want to be when I grow up".

Almost there...
This morning Kobe & I went to our new house for the final walk through and tommorrow morning at 9 am ben & I will be closing on the house (which means lots of papers to sign!)
So anyway, that is exciting. I have been working on cleaning and packing, I need a lot more boxes, but everything is going good.
Last night we had this crazy storm roll through, VERY strong winds, hail, and tornado sirens (but no tornados). Earlier that day Kobe had dropped one of his toys off the balcony and of course as soon as buckets of rain are coming down Kobe is begging Ben to run out in the rain to get it. He waited until the rain let up and ran out and got it. Crazy night.

Guess what we did today!
OK, it was not exactly warm enough to go to the pool today but Kobe wanted to so bad I had to let him try it. The pool is still like ice water, but the hot tub is luke warm so I laid by the hot tub and let him play around. Once the OLDER kids got there Kobe insisted that he take his swimmies off and be a big boy. He still wouldn't go in the pool though!

There's a Wocket in my Pocket
Ok, not really, but that is what Kobe reminds me of it this funny get-up. We got into out hawian party decorations because I have a girlfriend whose family is throwing her a hawian themed bridal shower. Anyway, Kobe just looked so fun I had to take a picture.
Plus, Mother's Day is coming :) Happy Mother's day to all of us mothers! Special shout outs to Alyssa, Shelly, Grandma Corey, Vicki, CINDY, Amanda, me (lol), and to Lindsay and my sister Bobbie (we are all so excited to meet your babies!).
I have been really enjoying the re-runs of "Biggest Loser" on the style network (66 if you have the same cable as me). I love that show, it is on speradically through out the day, check it out!
Love you guys, have a wonderful weekend!

This is what I am looking forward to!
Well, on this beautiful 78 degree day I spent most of it shopping for presents, I know, it isn't Christmas, but if you would have seen how many bags I was halling around the mall you would have thought it was. I got to buy Mother's day gifts for our moms, grandmothers and a special great grandmother, my dad (birthday), and ben's dad (birthday). Could we have more people to shop for around this time of year?!? I think each of us should time it so that we have at least one of our kids in May as well, I had kobe on the 30th, so everyone else needs to pick a day and have theirs on a day in May too, just so me and Ben have more people to shop for. :)
Anyway, i can not wait for the pool to open (even though we are moving) and I cannot wait to go up north and just have it officially be summer! Kobe's last day of school is May 29th, he isn't going to like that though :(

Well, I have been bustin' my butt this week...
I have been working so hard to finish my first professional wedding video for my March Bride & Groom. I am happy & excited to say it is finished!!! I have been trying to give it all my "spare time" and it is finally done! I am so proud of myself lol, anyway, we went to go see Spiderman 3 tonight. Kobe was in awe. We sat in the VERY front row. I hate the front row. The movie was pretty good, a little kooky, but good for the target audience (which I have a feeling is not suburban housewives :) ).
I am so excited that our closing date got moved forward, I was hoping it would. I need to hurry up and start packing! Can you believe that?!?
Anyway, it is 12:01 am and I have a video I need to finish up for tommorrow, just had to share my excitement.
OH! And Congratulations Lindsey A. & Ryan on your engagement!!! We love you both and could not be happier for you both. What are we going to do once Lindsey is married off? No more weddings, what are we going to do with our selves?

Update...
Well, I think our closing is going to be moved up to the 17th, at least that is what we are aiming for. We can't do it on the 20th because that is a Sunday so was are aiming to push it up rather than moving it back. The bank told us they would be ready before the 20th so I think it should work out!!!
****While I was still at the computer the real estate agent called and said we are all set for 9 am Thursday the 17th of May!

here are two new pictures
Here is one I got of Kendra in the mail today (sorry, I only check my mail like once a week, but I was excited to see it) and here is a picture of my nephew! Bobbie had here ultrasound a while ago, but I am just now posting the picture. This is everyone's favorite because he is sucking his thumb. You can see it so clearly. You could see him sucking it in the video. It was so cute!!!
