Meijers REALLY GOOD DEAL!!!!

Ok, this is kinda lame to post on my regular blog, but it is a really good deal!

Right now Jell-O is $.50 at Meijers.
If you buy three-after you pay for them-a coupon for $2 off your next shopping trip will print off from the Catalina Printer that is beside EVERY receipt machine.

The thing that make this a GREAT deal is that Meijers has a coupon on their website in the Meal Box  that is for $1.50 off two of these boxes of Jell-O.

So, you go to the Meal Box, click the specials tab-then go to the third page in Specials and find the Jell-O Coupon and hit print, a tiny window will come up with a picture of the coupon and the you print that off.

You have to but 3 Jell-Os at a time to get the $2 off coupon.

Buy 3 Jell-Os at $.50 ea.
Give the cashier the coupon. (Now your total is Zero)
After they cash you out your $2 off coupon will print.

$0 out of pocket and you get $2 & free jell-o  :)

I imagine the Jell-O sale ends this Saturday (Nov 1st)

Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone plans on having fun tonight Trick-or-Treating and being with friends and family!

Kobe's Halloweens:

Here is your last "Blast From the Past"-at least for a while-I have had so much fun going through old pictures and seeing my little boy again!  It is almost enough to make me want another one ;)

Thursday Kobe had his first 1st Grade Field Trip.  The kids all went to a Nature Preserve and had lots of fun!!!  I cannot tell you how much I thank God for giving me a job that allows me to spend time with Kobe.

When Lindsay posted about her and Elle playing Tea Party I immediately remembered Kobe having Tea Parties with "Little Amanda".  Boy did our two year olds have fun making a huge water mess on "Little Amanda's" Mom's Coffee table :)
Aida ("Little Amanda's" mom) and I both had only one child and we loved it when they would play together and we could spend time together talking about grown up things!  I miss those days-I love my life now-I just wish there were a few more days like that.

Here are some shots of Kobe in his very first Super Hero Costume.  This kid ran around in this costume on a daily basis and we just thought it was the most adorable thing :)

Pictures Kobe will thank me for later...

I can't really think of a good enough "caption" to put with these pictures but boy do they make me laugh...I have these on stand by for his first date.

Here is a shot of Kobe's second Halloween.  He was a giraffe and was SO CUTE!!!

So Little

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of Kobe at this age.
This is my favorite shot of his CRAZY baby hair :)
And this is Kobe's first Halloween picture :)

When I look at old pictures of Kobe...

...it makes me not so sure I can go the rest of my life without making another one of these :)

I can't believe how long ago these pictures really were taken-at the same time I can't believe how recently these pictures were taken!
I have to interrupt my flash back week to bring you some current news though...

So, last week, about the middle of the week Kobe gets in the car with this in his hand:
Yes, that is right, Kobe came home with his first phone number-from a girl-in First Grade.
What in the world.

Then, this morning, I found this in his back pack:

The "love note" seems to be written in First Grade Girl Code but I see the word "love" in there-twice.

Is it just me or are these kids a little young for this?  :)

This week at "Fast Times of...the Wentzels?" I will be playing "Ghost of Halloween's Past".  But I will be a happy Ghost...most of the time..so get ready for a flash back week celebrating some of our favorite memories from the past seven years...and from Halloween's past...

Harvest Party 2008

Our Super Kids!

I loved the horse rides!

Brook's cousin Mina...
Brook's cousin Morgan...
Kobe got 3 things painted on him...
...and his hair painted!  (it came out when I washed it thank goodness!)

My Kobe...
Brook...
The kids had a ton of fun, ran around with their friends from school and each other, got lots of candy and played and played and played!
