What do you Blog about where you have been watching miracles for 8 days?

If you saw Bobbie now you would have no idea what really happened to her.  She looks beautiful!

She is moving around really well, eating good, hurts, her face hurts, her mouth hurts, her neck hurts, her face is healing so well.  There is a lot of hard stuff that has gone along with the good, but there is so much more good than bad.

It was so good to sit with her yesterday and be with my sister again.  Talk about the same stupid stuff, tell her about everyone who has been praying for her, tell her what went on the first few days that she has no memory of, all the while praising God for letting us keep her for a while longer.

"Everything comes from God alone.  Everything lives by His power, and everything is for His glory"

-Romans 11:36 tlb

I know a huge part of this is that my family (our extended family) needed to see the goodness of God.  I cannot tell you how it has opened a door to talk to our family about the goodness of God and I was actually able to fully explain salvation to one of my Aunts.
It also had a profound affect of one of my Cousins who Bobbie and I love (Love you Lo!)  - You can read about that here.

I cannot thank God enough for what He did for my sister and for my family.  It would have been devastating to loose my sister.  I honestly don't know what I would do if that happened.  At the same time it would have been devastating for my sister to loose her baby and God was even gracious enough to save the baby too.  We could not have asked for more.  We really couldn't have.

I do want to thank ALL of you for your prayers, HELP, gifts and support.  They have meant the world to me during this time!

Thank you Grandma Neighbors and Aunt Penny for EVERYTHING!  You two are amazing!  Thank you for visiting Bobbie, being there to help with Bobbie's new house and offering to help me if I needed anything!

Thank you Cindy and Mark!  Thank you for coming to the hospital that night and for all the time you took care of Kobe for us.  It helped us in ways you will never know, we are so fortunate to have you guys!

Thank you Grandma Corey & Vicki for the support, shower chair & gifts.  I don't know what I would do without you two, I love you guys so much.

Thank you Shelly, Lindsay & Alyssa for you prayers, support, gifts and for being the best sister-in-laws I could ask for.  We are lucky to have each other.

Thank you Lauren for being at the hospital.  You have no idea how much that helped me.

And, thank you Ben, for being strong for me when I couldn't be.  Loving me when I am so sad, tired and ornery.  You are amazing.  The best gift God could have ever given me.

I have so much to be thankful for, my cup runneth over.

Really Leah we are the blessed ones and really don't even know it. You said "Thank you Shelly, Lindsay & Alyssa for you prayers, support, gifts and for being the best sister-in-laws I could ask for. We are lucky to have each other." We are lucky and blessed to have each other and many times we choose to forget that, sad. We have seen how we can come so close to loosing a love one so quickly, we have no time to waste. I love you and am so glad that God choose to save Bobbie and the new baby so we have them longer. Thank you GOD.
Love you so much,
Mom

I need no thanks ... my thanks is just knowing that Bobbie and the baby are safe and that time and God will heal her. Bless you and your parents for being there. And bless Dave for never leaving her side. Love you all. See you soon.

I get on here every once in a while to check up on everyones lives. As living down here is "God's Country" kind of leaves us out in space a little bit. I read your post about bobbie being home and that is such an answer to prayer! We have been praying for all of you guys because I know that it can be taxing on everyone that is involved. Thanks for keeping us updated. I also read the part about the sister in-laws and thought it was great! As a husband of one of them I feel blessed to have all of you as sister in-laws and also my sister. This situation will make you stop and think about how short life is and how quickly it can end if God sees fit. Which thankfully he did not and we will all enjoy the thousands of pics that leah will be posting of the new baby in the future. Life is short and we have to enjoy the people that we love or we may lose that opportunity!! Love you guys!!
