Saturday was a hard day for me. My iMac G5 decided to get sick and when we took him to the doctor the doctor said it was going to cost $900 to fix him. Considering it only costs $1199.00 to buy a new best friend I opted for that. We weren't that close anyway.
I will miss you old friend! You were very good to me. You gave me three solid years of no problems and lots of help! You made me lots of money, and did the work of a computer at least double your age. I don't hold it against you at all that you had to take a rest-you didn't owe me a thing after all you had done for me.
THIS is my new best friend. He is a little bigger and a little better-but I don't want his ego to get any bigger.
So, that is what my Saturday was all about!

Isn't that crazy how much it costs to fix it? wow! Now I am just praying that doesn't happen to ours!!!

He uses both, but the laptop is mainly used for internet business, and emails. He edits mainly (almost always) on his desktop.
Glad you found a new computer and a new friend. Sorry your old friend died.
