This is what I do (and I have only been doing it for 2 weeks):
I buy a Sunday paper. I cut out ALL the coupons. Even the ones I won't EVER need.
Next I take the sales ads and compare sales with coupons. I mostly check out the ads for Rite Aid (I got 4 herbal essence shampoos from there for FREE this week), Walgreens (I got 9 pkgs of diapers from there for $5.19 last week), and CVS (I have gotten a mountain of stuff from there over the past two weeks for like $40).
THEN (and most importantly) I check out these blogs:
http://thecentsiblesawyer.blogspot.com/ (hands down one of the best $ saving blogs I have come across)
These ladies are so good about getting the word out about great deals, free samples, free activities for kids, and matching up coupons with sales that is overwhelms me!!!
Like, for example, I went thru my adds and matched up my coupons with the ads. Well, today I ran across a post that matched up a sale at CVS (Pert Plus Shampoo 2 for $5) with 2 coupons in last Sunday's paper that make it free! (one $2 off & one $3 off). I had both these coupons and just missed it I guess.
So, it is as easy (and as complicated!) as that!

Well I will be spending hours on the internet looking up coupons.
Thanks
Ok Leah, I'm hooked. I signed up for my CVS card. It will take about 2 weeks to get it though. I will be picking your brain to figure out the game.

Hi Leah! Thanks for the link :) This "couponing" hobby - er, addiction- sure is a lot of fun! Thanks for reading my blog!
