How DARE we not stand up for what is right!
Not my story, but one worth sharing!
On the back of my mustang I had a sticker made that reads "ABORTION IS MEAN." It's big and on my back windshield. Anyways I went to the mall one day and I was wearing my "abortion is mean" shirt. I went into one of my favorite stores and the manager came over to me and I was expecting her to ask if i was finding everthing ok. Instead she asked if I drove the white mustang with "abortion is mean" on the back of it. I was a little nervose to be honest, but i said "yes." She then told me she wanted to tell me something. She said that she had gotten pregnant out side of wedlock and she was really scared because even though she was an adult she knew her parents would greatly disapprove. Her sister who had once had an abortion strongly suggested for her to have one as well. She was confused ...she told me that she began to pray never really donig that before and asked God "what should i do?" She kept praying and finally her sisters convinced her to get the abortion. So since God hadn't answered her she made the appointment. On the day of the appointment she prayed once again, this time she asked Him to show her a sign if this wasn't meant to be, to please make it clear. She told me that the day of the appointment she got of work and was scared and sad but was going to do it anyway. When she walked outside the mall doors she said that my car was directly infront of her...reading "abortion is mean." She was in such shock...God answered her prayer big time. She never went to the appiontment and when she was telling me this she was about 6 months pregnant. She said that she was so thankful I had been there and I said, "thank God! He's the one who put me there." We finished talking and she hugged me . A few months later I went back and saw here agian. She was so happy to see me. She said she wanted to show me pictures of her son. He was so handsome. I started to cry but wanted to keep it together. She also wanted to tell me that her sister who had the abortion before had gotten pregnant again. She told her about me and God. Her sister also decided not to have another abortion.
I'm very greatful that God used me to save a child and sometimes you may get discouraged and feel like all the work you are doing to make a difference isn't workin but it is. You never know who's watching and whose life you'll touch. Never stop fighting.

This story reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw in a parking lot .. it said "PROCHOICE ... THAT'S A LIE, BABIES DON'T CHOOSE TO DIE" How we forget that the life we make a choice about isn't ours.
