Planting Season

Yesterday I couldn't help myself, I had to pick up a few pkgs of flowers to start inside myself this year.  Kobe enjoys stuff like that too so I thought it would be fun for us to do today.

I am most excited about finally planting my own herbs!  I hate buying them "Fresh" at the store because they just aren't that "Fresh".
I picked up two different kinds of plants to grow in my planters, the are both a mix of white, pink & red.  I also picked up some red sunflowers, I thought Kobe would get a kick out of those because he has never seen them before, neither have I.
I made sure to buy flower that were specifically for full sun because my whole back yard gets nothing but sun!
Last night I talked Ben into cleaning up this weird brush pile the old owners had started behind out little shed.  We got it all cleared out and it looks so much nicer.  I also have been raking like crazy and the yard is starting to look very clean.  I love it.
While Ben and I were cleaning out the brush pile, Kobe was playing with the neighbor's 2 yellow labs.  They really like Kobe and Kobe loves them.  At one point Kobe was kneeling on the ground and had one dog licking him on one side of his face and the other doing it on the other side, I wish I had had my camera out.

I hope everyone has a great day today!  It is supposed to be nice like yesterday so that will be nice.

I guess Kobe has a little farmer in him and so do you. Spring is my favorite time of the year.

Yes, you can grow it inside, that is what I will be doing because I don't want bugs on it :)

looks like a lot of fun leah. my strawberries just came in the mail today. I can't wait to plant them. Dave has already planted our potatoes, onions on greens. My mouth waters just thinking of eating them.
